Nick D'Errico has been a goaltending coach for the past 12 years and is currently the head coach of Mount St. Charles Academy's Varsity 2 and JV boys' ice hockey. He holds a Gold-Level Goalteding CEP through USA Hockey as well as a Level 4 certification, and completed his Gold thesis in goaltending evaluations. He has also attended the Global Goaltending Retreat in 2023 and 2024, contributing to research in ecological dynamics and self-determination theory.
His goaltending company, D'Crease Goaltending, focuses on creating free resources for goalie and team coaches as well as organizational advisory, aiming to build new avenues for grassroots goalie development. He works toward this same mission as a Goaltending Development Coordinator through Massachusetts Hockey.
Prior to his coaching career, Nick played ACHA III hockey as a goaltender with Stevens Insititute of Technology and Emerson College, earning a Bachelor's degree in Publishing. He also attended Worcester Academy (NEPSAC) for high school and Fay School for his middle school years. Nick lives in Mendon, MA, with his wife, Collette, son, Damien, and two dogs, Floki and Freyja.
