Emily grew up in Michigan playing both boys' travel and girls' AAA hockey with Honeybaked and Little Caesars. She then spent four years at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, where she won three regular season championships and the 2021 CHA Playoff Championship. In 2021 when Robert Morris cut their men's and women's hockey programs, she transferred to Ohio State University where the team won the WCHA Conference Championship and its first National Championship in program history. She currently plays in the Professional Women's Hockey Players' Association, a professional women's hockey league in North America. She graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership, a Minor in Psychology, and a Certificate in Public Management. Emily began coaching in 2018 with a local girls program in Michigan, and then became involved in the learn to play, youth in-house, and adult hockey programs at Robert Morris. Working in camps, with individuals, groups, and for teams, she continued growing her coaching experience, which she sought to utilize when she moved to Columbus. Since living in Columbus, Emily has volunteered with the CAHA and EYHA programs, as well as becoming a women's hockey ambassador and assistant coach with the Ohio Blue Jackets Girls AAA program in 2022, where she continues to coach now. Emily's hobbies include reading, playing other sports, cooking, and art.
