In Kindret's first season at the helm of the women's ice hockey program in 2021-22, the Hawks skated to a 16-13-3 record overall and an 11-6-3 record in New England Women's Hockey Alliance play, good for the third-seed in the league's postseason tournament. Saint Anselm qualified for its fourth-consecutive NEWHA Championship game in its first season playing primarily against National Collegiate level competition. Kindret led the Hawks to a win over the University of Maine in her first game behind the bench on Oct. 2.
