What is your personal goal in your hockey career?
- To pursue opportunities in new places and broaden my horizons. Like most players, my goal is to play in the NHL but I appreciate that its extremely tough to make it and some things are out of my control. I just remained focused on the things that I can control and give 100% my best in everything I do. Hopefully that will take me to far-reaching places.

How would you describe your playing style and/or what role do you see yourself fitting on a team?
- First of all, I'm a team guy. I make sure people appreciate me and I try to work my best for my teammates. I play a complete 200ft game and pride myself on competing to win pucks and control the play. I love to get into the open ice to unleash a big shot but also I love to make the great pass that leads to a goal. I always drive to the net and I love rebounds. I take great pride in my faceoff percentage and I like to feel like I'm important to the team and my linemates. The take the role that the coach feels helps the team the most. Like any player, I want to play in the big moments and I hope my game is in 'the zone' so I can capitalize on my chances when I'm given the opportunities.

If professional hockey player is not an option, what would you want to be when you grow up and why?
